Government workers? Never thought of them that way.

Currently, have them preparing SCAN. I was going to give the detectives a "be careful with results speech" if we get to any poly's, but I am now thinking they may be govt'.

If the teachers or anyne else are employed by a state or local government, then EPPA allows poly to be used if they are willing. The Union, if they have one is a different story. A union member can ask for advise from the union according to the Weintraub decision. Remember, EPPA does not apply to Federal, State or Local Governments or any political subdivision thereof.

Great point Dan.

I must remark that no union delegate worth thier toupe would allow any sort of polygraph testing on thier rank and file---unless the teacher is under a formal and declared criminal investigation by law enforcement.

Prior to EPPA, one of the biggest clients that Reid has was the Retail Clerks Union. They wanted to poly their members who had filed some type of action against the Retailer, to asertain whether or not they were telling the truth about the incident. The method of madness behind the thinking was if the union member wasn't being totally honest, the union wouldn't take up their cause and fight with union dues.

How's that for a twist?

Wow Dan, that IS a twist----considering that unions have a reputation of being very steadfast against workplace polygraph testing of any kind.

When it saved the union money, I guess the polygraph didn't look that bad.

After SCAN, it's down to 4 people. One person thats works there is a very close friend of the family- so something needs to be arranged there- if she is one of them.
